The Assignment

A brand's whole vocabulary.

A seller of home safes and vaults needed an entirely new brand: name, positioning, voice, copy system. The audience ranges from technically-minded homeowners to small businesses securing physical assets. One hard rule from the client: no fear-based messaging, ever.

The Challenge

Security sells fear. This shouldn't.

Security products default to communicating from a place of fear. The brief was to build something that felt confident and modern instead — a brand that sold calm, not worry.

My Role

Naming, manifesto, and templates.

Naming strategy, brand manifesto, tone guidelines, product-naming conventions, and copy templates for the website, packaging, and email.

The Work

The manifesto.

Brand manifesto — NL

Brand name replaced with […] for privacy.

Direct without being blunt. Confident without being arrogant. Technical only when it helps the reader — never to impress.

The Delivery

A voice built to scale.

Full deliverable: brand-name rationale, positioning statement, tone guide, a set of taglines, product-category names, and web-page templates — everything the client needed to launch and grow the brand consistently.
